Alabama is coming off its third national title in four years following the BCS Championship victory over Notre Dame 42-14. Auburn is coming off a disappointing 2012 season. New head coach Gus Malzahn and his high powered offense is bringing excitement back to the program in 2013. Coach Malzahn's staff got off to a fast start by bringing in a top 10 recruiting class. Carl Lawson was ranked by many as the nation's top recruit and is the cornerstone of the 2013 Auburn recruiting class. Auburn also pulled a signing day coup by landing 5 star defensive tackle Montravius Adams. Auburn's 2013 schedule is headlined by the 2013 Iron Bowl against Alabama to be played at Jordan Hare Stadium in November 2013. There are high hopes for the 2013 LSU football team. The team is coming off a disappointing loss to Clemson in the Chick Fil A Bowl. However, quarterback Zach Mettenberger has a year of experience under his belt now and should be even better in leading the Tigers attack. Running back Jeremy Hill is also one to watch as he gets to run behind a strong offensive line. On the defensive side of the ball LSU lost a lot to the NFL Draft.
